DRIVING CHANGE TOGETHER: HOPE FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN

At True Two All, the passion for making a positive impact extends far beyond skincare. Agnieszka and Sophia, the driving forces behind the brand, believe in finding joy, promoting freedom, and making a difference in the world. As female entrepreneurs, avid travelers, and adventurers, they have embarked on a meaningful journey by partnering with Hope for Girls and Women, an organization in Tanzania dedicated to supporting girls and women escaping gender-based violence, child marriage, and female genital mutilation. 

During a recent trip to the incredible Serengeti, Agnieszka was captivated by the vibrant Tanzanian culture and touched by the community's kindness and deep connection with nature. However, she also learned about the harsh reality of female genital mutilation, a brutal custom deeply ingrained in their society. It was through a local contact that Agnieszka was introduced to Hope for Girls and Women. In visiting their safe houses, she witnessed this organization's tremendous impact on the lives of brave young girls and women who seek education, freedom, and peace.

Hope for Girls and Women, founded by Tanzanian activist Rhobi Samwelly in 2017, operates safe houses in the Butiama and Serengeti Districts of the Mara Region in Tanzania. These areas face alarmingly high rates of spousal violence, child marriage, and female genital mutilation. The dedicated staff at Hope for Girls and Women provides shelter, support, and essential services to those in need. They offer vocational training classes, empowering the residents with skills to become financially independent. By promoting female entrepreneurship, the organization helps women break free from the cycle of violence, forced marriages, and the practice of female genital mutilation.
